Compassionate Treatment for Eating Disorders and Trauma Recovery

Melissa Mark, LPC

Welcome to Reclaiming Self Therapy

I believe that eating disorders are often deeply misunderstood.

In my view, many unhealed conditions and relational struggles are rooted in complex and early childhood trauma.

I offer individual counseling services that provide a safe, compassionate space where you can share your story, build resilience, and engage in meaningful healing. Together, we explore the underlying patterns that keep you feeling stuck-whether in your relationship with food, your body, or your sense of worth-and begin the process of reconnecting with and reclaiming all parts of yourself.

I know firsthand the pain of disordered eating, anxiety, and depression rooted in childhood trauma and complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) - the feeling of being lost, damaged, and/or hopeless - and I also know the profound transformation that comes from healing and reclaiming the parts of yourself that were once disconnected or unseen.

Reclaim Your Voice: Share your story in a space grounded in empathy and respect.

Reclaim Your Strength: Navigate challenges with clarity, confidence, and support.

Reclaim Your Peace: Connect with in-person therapy sessions or access secure, virtual care-wherever you are in Arizona.

The wound is the place where the Light enters you.
