Welcome — I’m Melissa Mark, LPC, founder of Reclaiming Self Therapy.

I believe that eating disorders are not about food alone — they’re about pain, protection, and the patterns that once kept you safe. Many struggles with body image, worth, and relationships are deeply tied to complex or early childhood trauma.

In our work together, we slow down and make space for your full story.

I provide a warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental setting where you can begin to:

  • Understand the roots of your eating disorder or trauma-related symptoms

  • Heal the disconnection between body and self

  • Build resilience, trust, and self-compassion

Personal Note: I know the pain of disordered eating, anxiety, and depression that stems from complex trauma — and I also know the profound transformation that comes from reclaiming the parts of yourself that were once silenced or unseen. Healing is possible, and it begins with being seen.

Reclaim Your Voice: Share your story in a space grounded in empathy and respect.
Reclaim Your Strength: Move through challenges with clarity, confidence, and support.
Reclaim Your Peace: Access in-person therapy in Flagstaff or secure telehealth sessions anywhere in Arizona.

The wound is the place where the Light enters you.

A Space for Healing and Connection

As a licensed professional counselor, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through many different life experiences and stages of healing. I believe meaningful change begins with connection — first with yourself, and then with others.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll work toward greater emotional well-being, healthier relationships, and a deeper sense of self-trust and resilience.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, disordered eating, body image struggles, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can offer a space to slow down, heal, and reconnect with what matters most.

You don’t have to carry everything alone.

I’m here to support you with warmth, care, and steady guidance every step of the way.
